Minecraft Bedrock Has Custom Superflat Worlds Now!

Minecraft Bedrock Now has custom flat worlds, this was added in the 1.21.80.22 Beta/Preview and this is what you need to know about them!

It’s now possible to select a flat world preset from the Advanced Tab of the Create New World screen when flat world mode is enabled, offering players more variety in their flat world experiences. The available presets include Classic Flat, Tunnelers’ Dream, Water World, Overworld, Snowy Kingdom, Bottomless Pit, Desert, and Redstone Ready. We’re excited to collaborate with the community to shape the future of flat worlds and encourage you to share your ideas on our feedback site. As a developer’s note, this is just the first set of flat world presets we’re introducing, with more, including the fan-favorite The Void preset, planned for future updates.

I wish they had a feature to have a flat surface world with normal underground generation caves, dungeons, ancient cities ect. ect.

It's funny how the Legacy Console versions already had this feature back then and Bedrock is just getting this now... more than 10 years later!

If they add a village preset (infinite or otherwise), there will be much rejoicing. I just lost my flatworld challenge to the update, so this is amazing news.

Customizable super flat. I haven’t heard that name in ages. Brining me back to the good old Xbox studios 4J Minecraft console edition 🥹 (I miss Ecko covering the TU updates).

I remember on the old minecraft console edition you could make custome flat world's where you could up the spawn of dungeons and mineshafts and it would spawn in the sky making a cool environment I wish they would re-implement that

Now we need
-Crop planting sound or harvesting
-Spectral arrow
-underwater ambience sound
-Java Particles (espicially while in combat)
-player walking backwards animation same as Java
-player while running and jumping legs have to move quickly like in java

There should also be a caving world where caves (old caves version and new caves version) are below the grass just like in 2009

full class trained developer team and it took them EIGHT YEARS to add a feature that’s been on java and the old legacy console edition. And you STILL cannot fully customize it! Wow

Took them long enough. Now they should start planning (If they already aren't) to add amplified worlds presets back.

This and the fact resource packs/add-ons don’t affect achievements anymore are huge. They’re so subtle but they make a (super flat) world of a difference (sorry)

for superflat they should just bring back the features from xbox 360 like the ability to edit adding mansions, villages etc and editing blocks i dont see why they even removed it for the newer versions

I like the new water world, but I wish the ocean floor was a little more varied, rather than looking like a submerged parking lot--at the very least, have some kelp down there.
My dream would be an ocean world with the same terrain as a regular world but submerged under an ocean with a height of Y-256. Maybe an archipelago of small islands in a vast ocean.
