Abstract
C and C++ languages have a long history going back to the early days of programming itself. Since then many C++ tools have appeared. Currently while developing in C/C++ you can select between dozens of text editors and several IDEs. So you might ask yourself, if there are so many text editors, what can an IDE actually offer me with a language that’s been around for so long? Can it really help me be more productive?
See how an IDE can get out of your way and let you creativity flow, while at the same time, take care of the mundane tasks for you. We’ll see CLion, a cross-platform C/C++ IDE from JetBrains, covering code analysis features (including Data Flow analysis for detecting unreachable code), refactorings, smart navigation and more.
