I'm the lead survey maintainer, it's always a nice surprise when people take the time to make videos about it, thanks!

I've been using angular since version 6 and will continue to do so and I'm very happy with the new improvements and more friendly APIs.
I think preferring angular is just a matter of taste, structure and size of the app you're building. on the other hand learning and mastering RxJs is hard and has a long learning curve for some people which causes them to drop the whole framework,

Angular still seems to neglect web performance while every other web framework prioritizes it. Meanwhile Angular is working on more intricate typescript tooling (e.g., typed forms) that just creates more rabbit holes for you to go down instead of getting real work done. Another big issue is that it's much less friendly to use in server rendered pages. I'm not sure what is driving Angular's priorities but they seem to have fallen away from what most people want in a web framework.

Frontend Angular dev here since AngularJS launch back in 2010, still using Angular v15 today, it is the best framework for enterprise, no doubt. I've used backbone+marionette, react, vue, all of them. I still prefer Angular.
nice vid Brandon, you got a new sub.

Where I live in France, there is much more Angular job than React (Est of Paris & Suburb) through Indeed and other local websites like that.

I feel like Stateofjs and such are much more Hyped than what I can see IRL

Hi Brandon, I am fairly agnostic when it comes to JavaScript libraries and frameworks. I fairly recently started using React now for two reasons, landing a job and because learning React allows you to make mobile apps with React Native. If it wasn't for the fact that there are lots of jobs for React and you could make mobile apps in JavaScript, I wouldn't have mind learning Angular. But to be honest? I have my eye out for Svelte too. At the moment I am using JavaScript & Python for the backend. BUT later on, after I get my first Dev job, I got my eyes out for C# and .NET and in the near future once I pivot to this ecosystem, I will definitely learn Angular. I see lots of jobs within large corporations using Angular with C#.
