Apply Transitions to Every Clip INSTANTLY - Davinci Resolve

I hate DR for this reason - I don't want to combine clips, I want a 1-2 second fade to black on one clip, then on the next clip from black to video. But when I do this it wants me to TRIM clips or SKIP clips - because I have "INSUFFICIENT HANDLES". So when I trim, it combines the clip and essential overlaps. Not what I want.

I think I'm still missing something... I want my second video (which is an overlay) to fade in with the first video that it sits on top of as if they are the same video, but the only way i've figured out how to do this is by rendering the two videos together without fades, then editing the video a second time to add fades that apply to everything. Having a crossfade on both clips doesn't do this.

Hello. I wonder if you can help out with a tip or two. Let`s say I stand in a doorway, you have one character to the right and one to the left. you looking at the person on the right, you turn your head to the left and see the person at the left. I have bean trying to do this but I`m not sure this is the right way. I recorded 3 video clips, each character and one for me turning a round. I can`t seem to get the transitions to turn around smooth to be realistic enough. Do you have any tip to give away for that type of recordings?

I have a question if I only want to transition in middle in every clip not in first clip on left and last clip on right and I use keyboard shortcuts to apply transition and if my clip don't have data to transition then davinci resolve ask me to trim clip but if I want to transition every clip but one by one so I how i command davinci resolve to don't ask me about trim clip every time and automatically trim every clips in transition shortcut (basically I don't want to davinci ask me to trim clip and it's does automatically for me) I know this is too much complicated but I am wedding flim editor so I have to edit thousands of clip manually and if davinci resolve dont ask me every time trim clip to apply transition and trim automatically for me so I can edit peacefully and fast

thanks but this actually does not work...I selected four clips like you and applied, Davinci applied only to beginning of first and end of 4th. then I slelected every 2nd clip, and then applied as you showed. As a result application was random again, somewhere in the end somewhere in the beginning + instead of Cross Dissolve everywhere I got fade to black between some clips. So as a result I gues this software is pretty random in choice of how to apply what and where.would be nice if that is fixed because as for 18th version, this is quite bad....that I every time have to guess if the tool is applied or not
