See walleyes swimming under a giant pine tree in this ultra clear underwater video. Large trees that fall into lakes provide excellent underwater habitat for a variety of fish, like walleye. This video shows how one large tree complex is home to dozens of walleyes who use the branches for shade and cover. It's a good illustration of why coarse woody habitat is important to have and to try to keep in our lakes and rivers.
