CBSE Class 10 Maths Chapter 1 - Real numbers - Let us understand first what is lemma? Lemma is a proven statement which can be used to prove other important statements.
Euclids division lemma states that any two number a and b can be represented in the below format :
a = b x q + r
with a condition that r should be greater than equal 0 and smaller than equal to b
where:
a is dividend
b is divisor
q is quotient
r is remainder
