Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Since 1992, the month of May has been recognized nationally as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month. This is to highlight the positive contributions many Americans of Asian and Pacific Islander descent are responsible for.

Mayor Curry and the Asian American Advisory Board encourage all citizens of Jacksonville to commemorate, celebrate and understand these contributions and history of the Asian-American experience in the United States.
