NFL Super Bowl (1986 Electric Football Game)

Rare UK edition of the electric NFL Super Bowl game, published by Peter Pan Playthings. An electric motor vibrates the metal playing area and the players direction can be programmed by adjusting the direction of little prongs under the base of the figures. Just watch No 44 make a 45 yard run!

I remember and adored the packaging design for this game very well with a Chicago Bears Player with a Kid in Miami Dolphins gear with the game on front of the box.Great Memories.

We had one alittle older, field was made out of Masonite. Players came in two different color plastics, you had to paint the teams you wanted. Then one manufacturer, probably Tudor sold the different teams painted and we sent away for those. Made up our rules (stop plays make adjustments [bend botton plastic "straps"] to make runners or defense turn the way we wanted), with the quarterbacks passing and running plays and kicking. Would hold the handle on the back of quarterbacks and kickers. Cut points on the little plastic "straps" on the bottom of runners to make them go faster.
Got strips of felt to make new "footballs" with.
Don't forget to put the felt football in the runner well, so he doesn't fumble!
All in all, we had our own NFL football league. Before video came PONG!😆

This was so unplayable and slow we ended up using a dice and creating our own gameplay

This is like another game equivalent to the likes of Test Match and Subbuteo.

Loved this as a Child! Still get it out to this very day for a Game. Considering it's from 1986, at the time it was years ahead anything else like it! You need to use abit of imagination & have patience.
