Hearing Majel Barrett's voice still gives me chills and brings a tear to my eye.

There were so many amazing scenes this season. This one is possibly my absolute favorite. Both for the final “hug” for the Enterprise D and for the “I miss that voice” line from Riker… Yeah, we all do 🥲

There were 63 other commodores before Geordi, so that made him Commodore 64...

it would have been great if Troi was in this scene. when Riker states that he misses that voice, Deanna should have said it always reminded her of her mother.

Just because something's old doesn't mean you get rid of it.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ending, for a perfect crew. I’ll carry this memory with me for the rest of my days.

Sleep well Enterprise... you've earned your rest.

"if ever there was better evidence that the past mattered..."

This means more than just what it means in the context of this scene.

Gene would be so proud how they wrapped this up.

That's, how you close out a series....!

I wonder how many times I will watch this scene over the coming years. Many.

It was refreshing to hear that the past matters after seeing so many episodes of Picard where he was treated like garbage by people who owe their lives and their civilization to his achievements.

Am I the only one who thinks that this whole scene is also a meta commentary on the main cast, their relationships, and who they are as people? Who would they all have been without Star Trek and each other? Star Trek really did take good care of this cast over all these years.

Also, was Picard's fist line of this scene a pointed dig at Disney/Lucasfilm? "If ever there was better evidence that the past mattered... it's right here."

I love how Riker says "I miss that voice." Subtle tribute to Majel Barrett who died in 2008.

I can't nor would i ever want to imagine a world where The Next Generation never happened, they were my childhood and my rock, and i will always love them and keep them in my heart.
