Denuvo integrates seamlessly with no impact on the gaming experience? Good one. 🤣

Ironically I feel it will actually push more people to pirate, because they'll want an unshackled cracked copy without Denuvo affecting performance of the game.

Denuvo will make Switch games run at 10 fps.

I used to pirate some games because I was in a very poor financial situation…but now? I do it out of spite because Denuvo can eat rocks.

Literally the only reason i play cracked games is because of denuvo

Baldur's Gate 3, a game that was cracked and shared in piracy sites right away is one of the most played games on PC right now. If piracy made it so that people that were going to buy the game didn't this wouldn't be the case. Whoever is going to buy the game will buy it and those who weren't going to won't.

They won't be increasing any game launch window by doing so it will only deter people smart people or someone who knows better not to buy any game with DRM! Thanks Denuvo just keep making a clear headline about what you're doing it will keep us all ahead of the curve and not to buy into their crap.

Piracy has no affects on sales realistically or success, games without DRM are still successful. This is just cope on giving a bad game or service

I can imagine so many people in the modding scene saying challenge accepted.

Just remember. Piracy is morally correct. Denuvo just makes me angry. I already know that with this people are just going to pirate more. Anytime a company tries to enforce anti piracy it just makes the problem worse. It's hilarious to see. (But also sad) like Gabe said. It's a service issue. Great vids as always I enjoy the consistent updates!

Aside from the performance issues, if the Switch Emulation Protection is going to be like Anti-Tamper, then it would require running the game at least once with internet connection to generate a token. I'm not 100% sure how Emulation Protection works yet but if this is the case, this makes me very worried about physical copies since most of the appeal on physical copies is that you can use them offline (most of them).

When the topic is Nintendo and Denuvo you know it is not going to end well

Love how Denuvo used AI art in their announcement. It's so stupid.

You are right about Denuvo, it is pure evil. I sadly have some games with Denuvo infecting them, because I didn't spend the minute it takes to check if the game had cancer before buying. I do that now with everything, always and if there is Denuvo, there is no purchase from me. I skipped Sonic Mania even though I really wanted to play it at release. I recently got it on a deep sale, years later after Denuvo had been removed, so the devs got a small fraction of the money they could have made if they didn't use Denuvo.
Games with Denuvo are a super bad purchase no matter what. The performance will not be good, I think a lot of the bugs, crashes and so on in many modern games for PC is down to Denuvo locking down memory and CPU to some degree.
Denuvo equals no money from me and many others. But it could be just the more tech savvy people who even know about it, and many don't care, they just want the new shiny thing. Maybe it only hurts sales 5-10%, but it hurts all the paying customers.

lucky for me I have a 86 game Wishlist on steam. so I can just work on that and the other games I've added to my backlog. if developers/publishers want to protect their "launch window" fine ill pick it up 2-3 years later at a severe discount instead of the release year at a minor discount usually around the winter/summer sales. Denuvo sucks for paying customers.

I heard the rumors about this Denuvo issue but never thought Nintendo will go through with it. Whatever hate ppl have against Nintendo will only intensify I guess.

Many modders and hackers will just view denuvo "Game protection" as a challenge 😅😂

Again Gaben is right about piracy is a service problem adding more DRM doesn't not fix anything better yet you lose money for example Baldurs Gate 3 it has no Drm a finished product with fair price that how a good service suppose to be and I hope in my opinion Baldur's Gate 3 will be the 1 choice to be the Game of the year do not vote for Nintendo games as way to prove a point
