Why doesn’t Canada secure Canada’s borders?

Toronto Police just confiscated 835 kilograms of cocaine, worth an estimated street value of around $83 million. It has the hallmarks of coming from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel from Mexico. It Came across the Mexico/USA border, undetected, then traveled all the way through the USA, again undetected, and came into Canada where it was confiscated.

Trudeau has really done a number on Canada. I voted him in initially and then regretted it. Living in Vancouver, his promise for solving the housing crisis that both the Conservatives and the BC Provincial Liberals allowed to occur was the main reason I voted him in. His solution - increase immigration so it made the housing problem FAR worse. His dangerous policies on crime, drugs, and border were icing on the cake for the disaster he has created...yet he believes the Canadian population is wrong for pushing him out of power. Naïve, delusional politicians are probably the most dangerous politicians to have in power- so many lives lost, so much suffering from homelessness, crime, addiction, and mental health issues that could have been solved by more aggressive, center right policies. Our only solution now is to vote in the Conservatives- which I am not a fan of doing. Pierre was the Housing Minister under the last Conservative Government. He did nothing to curve the dramatic continual increases in housing prices, hence why the Liberals saw a surge in initial popularity and got voted in. Sad that he is the only avenue to POSSIBLY get us out of our current mess.

Meanwhile, I recall sitting on the "Maple Leaf" coming home almost 20 year ago, on the siding waiting for border guards to make their way through the train. I literally watched guards take away children's food from their hands, Oh, those oranges and sandwiches you brought FROM CANADA originally, are in the trash. Not everyone can afford train food for a family on a long trip! Some of us have to bring a lunch along to afford the trip. Absolute mindless power tripping "just following orders". I'm pretty sure if there were a law passed ordering Jews or Japanese into Camps, the CBSA and other soulless law enforcement would go right along...'just following orders". And they wonder why nobody wants to be a cop or a border guard? Add in vaccine mandates and it gets worse.
