Dr Mark has spent more than three decades in the academic world, serving as college lecturer, seminary professor, field archaeologist, and dean. His focus is the Biblical text and world, a quest that takes him to distant and dusty places. He is director of Bible Land Explorer and field instructor for the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies (JCBS).
