The reason I'm creating this video is because WordPress recently came out with WordPress 5.8 and this version now supports the WebP format.

This is a super duper great tool! And then what you recommend to bulk images that already are IN the wordpress media to webp images? and for example in a news site with differents users that posts different things and it's literally impossible to each of them convert their own images before to upload and publish the post, has wordpress or elementor a bulk convert to webp plugin or script that doesn't affect the performance of the site?

i tried to convert an image ewith transparent background to webp in squoosh and it didn't save it with transparent background
