How to spend 24 hours in Rome, Italy (Part 1)

We are in Rome for 24 hours and only have a limited amount of time to enjoy this magical place. First, I’ll show you where to stay and I recommend finding a spot in the cool, bohemian neighborhood of Trastevere. This part of Rome is much more laidback and much easier to navigate with a rental car. We had a rental car that we needed to drop off the next morning at Rome (FCO) and did not want the hassle of driving around the busiest streets in the center of Rome.

I really like the location and vibe of Horti 14 and the property is on a quiet street and is close enough to walk to all of the historic landmarks that you’ll want to see. There is a garden, outdoor bar, available parking, and the rooms are simple but comfortable.
