Tesla should offer "personalization of your car appearance" as a feature (exterior and interior). It could be a major revenue 💰 stream, especially for the holidays. I have seen many fantastic Cybertruck cosmetic designs online (colors, etc, not engineering). It's so fun to just look at them. 😊

FYI - maybe i'm wrong but i think the Xai api needs to be called out as something super valuable as well.

Grok is much less restrictive than other api based foundational models - i use it a lot myself on edge cases where i'm afraid openAI will get pissy with me.

Having the APP and an API means Mainstream users and devs alike will be aware of it. Developers don't usually care about politics we care about if something does the thing you want easily, and Grok is pretty good so far, especially in cases where anthropic or openai pukes on the payload.

Maybe Tesla now believes they can ramp up the cybercab much faster than they previously thought, so they don't need as many of the lease vehicles to get started with the robotaxi fleet.
