This is a long time coming. By request, I drove in some light snow, at night, in an attempt to highlight just how amazing these DD SS3 fog lights really are.

I bought the cheaper sport ones a few years ago. I truly think for fog lights. The sport would have been a over kill. They still light up enough of the road in bad weather. That its not a big deal. I also like the fact in the rain. Since my car has led from the factory. It kinda filters out the glare from the led head lights.

I just installed a set of those on my 4runner and went with yellow for the snow. I have a ditch light kit with the driving light option and an anxious to see how those work.

Nice, I was going for the Max, but maybe the pro will do just great.

Its weird I just got fog lights installed yesterday and it feels like they barely put out any light. You dont even need to use headlights with yours

Just bought 2 sets one for each of my trucks.

Yellow fog lights do a better job illuminating snowy roads and fog since white light bounce off white surfaces, giving you less visibility on foggy and snowy roads. Yellow lights for the win!

I just watched Headlight Revolution’s take on yellow led fog lights and they stayed that yellow LEDs, in fact, do NOT cut through fog, dust, snow and rain the way halogens do. A halogen bulb only emits a single wavelength of light while an LED emits multiple wavelengths. They said yes a yellow led will not dazzle as much as a white led, but as far as performance is concerned in inclement and foggy conditions, a yellow halogen is much better a cutting through it than a yellow led. Their only limitations is that they are dimmer lights.

ive had em 2 or 3 yrs an they work fine except freezing snow an ice they pack out with snow an ice then diffuse down to minimal light just not enough heat to melt off the lenses while driving in heavy snow conditions.

Wondering if you’re still getting flashed by oncoming traffic? I’d like to get these but worry I won’t use them much for that reason.

You need to aim your lights down, those low beams are blinding the shit out of other drivers. Notice the last guy didn't turn off this high beams because he thought you had yours on. Whenever you lift or level a vehicle, re-aim the lights so they do not blind other road users. The fog lights should also be aimed down quite a bit. The SS3 Pro has a very tall beam pattern, and you typically cannot avoid blinding people with them. I would recommend only using these fog lights when there are no people in front of you or driving towards you.

Why would your wife get mad at you about a fog light?

That's a general pattern about wives not liking them... anything automotivve. Did you buy her a pair of slippers to go with them?
