I like that you took time to review all of these foundations and then reminded us that we probably have foundations already and don’t need more right now lol. It’s so easy to get caught up in overconsumption trying to keep up with what’s new. I wish I was in the market for new products but I only have one face and way too much makeup already 😌. Will keep your recommendations in mind though for when I can justify adding something new to my collection 😊

I have “workday” foundation- Estée Lauder Doublewear, Fenty matte, or the Sephora Collection. On the weekends I wear the Lisa Eldridge foundation because I can apply it with my fingers and it looks great in natural light. I know it’s not necessary to have two different kinds of foundation but I just like different effects. I fully agree about Haus Labs - the undertone was so odd on me. Charlotte Tilbury’s foundation made me look oilier when I tried it. When you talked about reactions to fragrance - I flashed back to my high school days when I tried Fashion Fair - there wasn’t a lot of choice back then - boy did that bring out a rash! And to add insult to injury, the undertone ended up making me look dirty 😂

And you’re absolutely RIGHT, I honestly need to go thru my foundation drawer becuz I’m definitely using some expired products (just being honest). I was about to buy/try another foundation but this video let me know that my oily skin needs to stick with what I have. I have Estée Lauder double Wear and One Size. I love using them on their own but I mixed them together just to experiment yesterday and they looked even better together. Gonna try doing it again the next time I wear foundation to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.
