This show is like the exact opposite of _Murder Drones._ It's bright, cheery, and comedic on the outside, but full of darkness, heartbreak, and existential dread on the inside. And I'm going to love it just as much.

Not sure caine is that evil, he is a bit crazy but he seemed kinda sympathetic when he was trying to make an exit door because they kept mentioning it. And when he creates games for them so that they wont go insane. Eh maybe there will be a darker reveal later... but he seems actually like some caretaker

According to Gooseworx, Caine is an AI programmed to create and maintain a happy wacky cartoon circus world for humans to have fun in, but he’s incapable of actually understanding humans and he can’t interact with the world outside his game.

It's honestly amazing how much internet animation has blown up in less than decade. Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Murder Drones, Lackadaisy, Ramshackle, this show, and so many other short films/pilots have blossomed and have or are beginning to shine, and that to me is amazing. Despite being a notorious b***h about copyright, Youtube really is a mostly "friendly" place for potential animation creators and showrunners to be given a chance to strut their stuff.
Also a couple fun facts: Gooseworx was one of composers of the pilot for Hazbin Hotel and the voice of Zooble, Ashley Nichols host of the Hunicast, was a lead cleanup artist for Hazbin Hotel and is also currently developing her own show Far-Fetched.

I honestly think I liked this better than Murder Drones episode 1! This hits all the notes I love in horror stuff. A little eldritch, a little liminal, very hopeless. And I like how colorful (no pun intended) the cast is.

Fun fact: This show (and Murder Drones) is animated using Unreal Engine.

This same software was used to make tons of video games, including ARK, Fortnite, Doom, PUBG, Gears Of War, and Yoshi’s Crafted World.

Cane seems to be some sort of dungeon master he seems to have direct control over the realm and what happens the only thing he doesn’t have control over is the characters minds and since but he seemingly doesn’t have the ability to let them leave because he never finished the exit but is clearly hiding something and knows more than he lets on

Glitch really outdid themselves with this! It came out so good and was just the perfect balance of goofy and unhinged and I just loved how it came out!🔥

Jax is indeed an "awful boye" but he's awesome for it

23:02 Caine is an AI here in the game here, ADMIN AI would make sense cuz he has backend access like his watch that alerts & pinpoints him where a “cast member” has been astray & immediately he goes there to retrieve easy peasy, whereas it was a long journey for Pomni to b “accidentally” led into the Void. I have some theories of the Void & that exit door like the door for some reason bringing her to the digital aether after dragging her thru the same office rooms is sus.



But back to my point Caine is the admin & enforcer (the non-swearing + the super fast copyright speech, he’s there to make the game kid-friendly but gives warning to users/players that legal action would b taken for misuse of product)of this world, well it’s “his” to control cuz at this point we have no idea who programmed Caine. Let alone knowing who built the whole VR system & why/how their system trapped humans inside for years. 🤔

You right it really looks like a old horror PC game, which makes me feel both uncomfortable and curious😅. I didn’t like Murder Drones (I’m not a big fan of 3D in general) but I’m more interested by this. Let’s see where it’s going.

7:39 one more, it may have been or STILL is an ongoing experiment. Considering the number of doors crossed out, there were MORE people before. I think there was initially a large amount of people who were play testers of the system. But something(s) gone wrong and they’re unable to take off the headsets. Someone on tumblr counted 26 doors, 26 letters of the alphabet; it’s no coincidence no one’s name has the same letter 🤔
