Here's a fan that nobody thought to preserve, let alone spend more than 3 times the original price to completely restore, when it was still on sale. The flimsiness of this fan led me to believe that this fan was one of the last CMC fans of this shape, before they started tacking on plastic center caps with their logo on the motors. This thing is seriously cheap in build quality.

I'm going to explain how I got my hands on this fan, and everything I did to fully restore it in its full demo video which will hopefully be out next year. But for now, I'll say that this fan is a lot quieter than I first thought, and the performance & running temp is generally what you'd expect out of these things, which isn't great, but since I'm a sucker for CMC ceiling fans, especially with this plain motor shell, I think what I'm doing to it is justifiable.
