Without people such as Paddy Mayne, the allies would have had a far more difficult job of winning the second world war. His, along with the rest of David Sterling's originals actions were almost superhuman and the fact that he wasn't awarded the VC is ridiculous!

Does anyone know where to find the 90s era doc where they read Paddy's journal and he described them on their ambush raids as being like pirates? And how he would galvanise and tell the men they need to keep pushing to gain ground. It featured two elderly SAS seated (one with a walking stick) who explained how they were told to "shoot first, ask questions later". I've been trying to re-find find for a few years and would be very grateful if anyone can help me. I've been archiving a special forces motivational project for years and would love to have this clip and share more with others. Thanks!
