Now into the Central Asian country of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is a very unique country as it is one of the only two double landlocked countries in the world - which means all of its neighbors are landlocked as well. As a country situated at the crossroads between Middle East, East Asia, and Russia, Uzbekistan's existence has been shaped by its neighbors, and up to today, Uzbekistan continues to be shaped by its neighbors.
