*Remember that this saw needs to have adjustments made to make 0 or 90 cuts accurately **MyBest.Tools** I had to use a right angle on the deck and blade and then adjust the bolt to get the correct reading. Once this is done, it works great.*

5:43 My sawblade was not centered in the orange throat plate! It was angled slightly (more than yours) to the left of the 0 index. My blade and fence were 90 degrees, but my blade was not square to the degree marks on the table.

I bought the same model but it did not come with the tool but its ok i have tools. I just can't seem to get arm straight up. It came tight up and to the side so you know what i not doing right please share. i can't seem to find a video of the unboxing and setting up that part.

Ouch! Never handed a saw blade without wearing thick gloves. Making a blood donation to the DIY God hurts. When cutting the orange blade slots, you need to make three cuts. One at 0 degrees and two others at a maximum angle left and right. I discovered this saw would mount on a DeWalt Miter Saw Stand without making a plywood base. Please remember RIDGID does include a user manual with the saw.

Yeah too bad my saw came with a defective locking pin and bevel button so it's stuck in the shipping position and useless
