Some genuinely good advice. I've been miserable and frustrated recently because of where I am financially. But with every road I explore as a potential means to gain momentum, I hit an invisible wall, usually in the form of "To continue, you have to sacrifice some of your values and sacrifice yourself for something that you have no experience in" which keeps me from pressing further. I know that speed is the only way to build anything, I just can't seem to get any no matter what I try to pursue.

Can someone please tell me what, in your opinion, is the point of having a lot of money? Asking because I used to really want to make a lot of money and that was really exciting and motivating, but lately my (richest) friend, whenever I bring up money, says that it all really doesn’t matter… happiness is a state of mind… and I can see how for me, minus the financial safety factor, all it takes for me to be happy is spending time with people I care about and laying in the sun… so I’ve kind of hit a wall because I’m questioning what the point is, and that keeps me from working towards that goal.
