I eat a lot of salads, and I also don’t like to buy unnecessary utensils. Got a salad spinner recently and never looked back. It’s much more economical than using papers towels every time, does much better job than paper or cloth towels, and does it much faster. I couldn’t believe how much water already shaken salad leaves have, and it’s drained in seconds. I also think it’s fun to use, and I use it also on grapes, blueberries and various greens.
So to each their own I suppose

They just take up space. Nobody in my family has a salad spinner. We’ve survived without it so I think we’re good lol.

😂 i just learned how to shake it like vietnamese people do. You get the largest collander you own, put all the chopped wet lettuce in, cover it with a plate and shake it away from you outside. Centripetal force "dries" the water off the lettuce. 😅

I just throw the washed salad into a strainer and spin around the room making singing that “heli-copter heli-coptor” Arabian song. It dries the salad and the guests usually leave. Two birds one salad 💪

Never had a salad spinner paper towels do work great

I have one but only because I eat a lot of salad. I also use it to dry off many washed fruits.
