Ron staring at the torch BEFORE flipping down the shield on his welding goggles perfectly sums up his character

"Recently I made a chair. When I was finished, I thought it was a good chair." Man, I'd kill to have that man's simplicity in his self-esteem

A ring forged in a waffle iron made from a piece of Ann's house is possibly the best possible ring Ron could have made for Leslie!!!

One of the funniest parts of this to me for some reason was that he went back and fixed the hole in the wall after lol 😂

I would also submit a defining piece of Ron’s character is that his torch was his grandfather’s, making it a family heirloom

The sanding down of the repaired wall is the perfect little touch to this sequence 😊

Every time Ron Swanson smiles or laughs an Angel learns how to use a lathe...

I love the hyperbole of ripping a sconce off the wall when he could used a quarter. Well written and very well acted

It never occurred to me until now that Ron makes the rings in a waffle iron…Leslie’s favorite food ❤

I made my first ring using Ron's instructions just to see if it works and it did! Except for the tearing off the sconce part 😂 I just used some scrap metal 💍

Words can’t explain how much I look up to this man

I love that makers are always like this, they completely act like they don't deserve any credit for what they make, And that it was easy to do.

The man IS one helluva woodworker. Gave a tour of his shop.

I was a jewelers apprentice for a few months, and that’s basically it. Most people can YouTube how to be a jeweler in their garage after buying the proper equipment. It takes practice and patient. But yeah, jewelry is ridiculously expensive for what you get.

Man wish they made a show just about him and his advice

This is just Nick Offerman being himself. What an actual beauty.

The thing that makes me laugh is apparently irl he’s exactly like he is in the show and has the same hobbies

Fun fact, Nick Offerman in real life was actually a Carpenter before he was an actor so if anybody knows what they’re talking about even if they are lines, it’s this guy
