FOX 11 Los Angeles' helicopter was over the scene in Orange County as amusement park guests were stuck on "Sol Spin" with their legs dangling mid-air. The riders were believed to be stuck in mid-air for up to two hours.

My co-workers and I couldn't stop laughing at the guy who took a leak while stuck on that ride. Our manager told us that it's not funny and told us to go do something else even though she was kinda giggling as she said that. Afterall, it was funny.

They used a winch to pull it from its steep angle into the position where it could be lowered. Then it looks like the rides normal hydraulics took over, lowering it to the rider unload level.

You can tell they walked out of there funny, because their legs are numb from the blood flow being cut off in the thigh area from legs dangling so long, which is not suppose to happen with the body; but they get on those rides and are letting things be done with their body that is suppose to not happen anyway. Think twice.

Is Knots Berry Farm where the old Dysneyland is? Also, congratulations on finding and reporting on a real live news event or at least hope it is.

Well, I don't hope it is because then the people are actually going through the ordeal. I hope it is because real news found and reported on by real reporters is a relief.

You don't know how many times I have felt I am just done with the news because it is all seemingly contrived. I don't care about fake stories and scripted lives. I care that the people that bring me something that is based on the truth of our shared realities is bringing me real stories that they weigh their merit as an organization to.

I would rather get some real news with the facts as known along with the personal opinions and insights of the staff off the news company then contrived news.

Yes, of course all the contrived news metaphors almost directly to things in my life which gives me perspective but I am one human being and that doesn't help everyone else.

However, way back in the day when Chase Davis's mom took us to Frontier City in Oklahoma just a few blocks from where the State building was blown up about 10 days afterwards. They released us too early on the Wildcat Wooden Rollarcoaster on the first hill that we spent 45 minutes or so sideways on the first and highest hill. I am scared of heights and they were going to make us walk down the wooden platform that was to one side of the coaster but thank God they finally released us and the whole thing went by real quick. I wish that they hadn't done that and I would have rode that coaster over and over. I love rollar coasters but I do not trust any park that I am not familiar with anymore when it comes to my coasting pleasure. Silver Dollar City is fun and when you get lucky you don't even have to get off the coasters when they bank. You can just keep going and going for hours it seems without having to get back in line. I think it is funnest to be looking backwards especially when you get to know the track.

In 2012, WindSeeker, the ride that used to be on that footprint, had a similar thing happen. Its brake system malfunctioned and left riders stranded dangling in the air for several hours at a height of 300 feet due to a frozen brake.
