Supreme Court Issues Notice To The Centre, CBI, RBI | Notice After Subramanian Swamy's Plea

As per the latest news, the Supreme Court issued notice to the Centre, CBI & RBI on a petition filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy that the CBI should investigate the role of RBI & its officials in the banking scams involving public money. The plea filed by Swamy and advocate Satya Sabharwal states that the number and value of banking frauds detected by the RBI and other agencies during the last couple of years showed that despite enjoying wide, the RBI failed to protect the interests of various stakeholders including depositors, investors, and shareholders.
