Officials Provide Updates on Baltimore Bridge Collapse Updates at News Conference

A major US bridge has collapsed after a cargo ship collided into the structure, causing cars to plunge into Baltimore’s Patapsco River with upwards of seven people expected to be missing in the water.

Baltimore Fire Department chief James Wallace said two people have been rescued from the water and one is in a "very serious condition."

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott calls the situation an "unthinkable tragedy", confirming that there is an ongoing search for those who entered the water.
