51011 - Understanding the DOM

In this tutorial we look at and discuss the DOM in JavaScript. The DOM is the Document Object Model and we discuss and demonstrate how the model is assembled by the browser rendering engine and how JavaScript can use that model to access different areas of the webpage. Understanding the DOM is a very important aspect of web development and building interactive web applications.
