Luke, you must love the fact that you’ve married someone that has nursed herself in the history of your family and your country. I love listening to her and how much she knows and wants to know and it’s still learning. It’s literally literally fabulous.

Lovely to watch. Now an
old man of 87 in London. Back In 1954 I was a farm student on Eggadon Hill on King's Farm with Harry Poole and a member of Beaminster Young Farmers. A journalist asked me to write my memories of farming back then. Did so he put it on his blog and called it Mickeypops Muck and cow whispering. It is still out there if you google that title. Looking at this video the countryside brings back many happy memories Hooke, West Kingsdown Powerstock Netherbury and much .more including Beaminster and those young farmers meeting and once a talk by Ralph White man.

The way she competes to talk is hilarious 😂

I wanted to send my condolences to the passing of Luke's father/your father-in-law, John Montagu, the 11th Earl of Sandwich. Going to miss his insight to his families long history. Sending good thoughts and prayers your guys way.

"Happy people make a happy garden", and my Grandmother would not let you step a foot into hers if you were in a bad mood!🤭 And she always had a beautiful garden❣️

I am an American. But I love historical houses and I’ve just found your channels. You do a wonderful job. I can tell you’re not pretentious and it is a true love of history which you portray. Keep up the good work, Bill.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful! I love the Countess every time she is on your channel. I may never make it to England from my home in America but if I ever do, Mapperton will be my first stop! How fortunate you are to have so much family history on this fantastically exquisite estate. So much history and preservation!

The garden hosts are fantastically humorous. Loved their casual joyful attitudes. Your estate inside out is wonderfully kept and curated—thank you for sharing!

Luke and Julie. Thank you so much for taking the time out to show us the whole of Mapperton. It is so stunning! As a long time viewer, I enjoyed so much having a virtual tour of your home and estate. I watch your videos every week on all your channels and they are a great part of my day. Thank you again for all you do. From a loyal fan from the states! Anne P

Love seeing the Countess and Steve in the gardens and the estate tour with Luke. I do not think that one can truly understand the amount of land and buildings that you have to oversee and hope to keep in repair until it is shown like this. You are doing an amazing job preserving and running Mapperton for the generations to come.

I absolutely adore the enthusiasm of the gardener and the dialogue between him and Countess Hitchinbroke.
'I have actually been quite brutal with it'
Countess Hitchinbroke: 'Good!'
Love it.

Absolutely LOVE the colors and choices you have made for your castle. My family is struggling with choices on the renovation of a family chateau in France. It's so helpful to see your videos.

Wonderful!! The house is gorgeous and the gardens took my breath away. My mum was a British war bride from Manchester; she went "home" numerous times and took my sister and me to visit. We toured lots and spent time with her family as well; we stayed at some lovely homes while there. Thank you for opening to let us see your estate!
