For those curious as to how it works, the blade has a very low current passing through it, wood is not conductive enough so it's fine, but human skin is conductive so when the current passes to your skin, it triggers the stop.

I remember our building construction teacher always made us check what type of wood we were using. Green treated wood absorbs enough electricity for it to set off the sawstop.
