Some say a chapter a day keeps the devil away. I say a chapter a day keeps you aligned with God’s way.
Today we read Matthew 10 and explored the requirements to become a disciple of Jesus, not just a follower or believer.
A lot of people try to read the entire Bible in a year. I believe everyone should read the Bible at least once from cover-to-cover, but reading the entire thing in a year is a lot. That’s about 3 chapters a day. My first full reading took me 6 months, but there is a HUGE difference between just READING the Bible and STUDYING the Bible.
Your eyes just glancing over the words and your mouth mumbling hard-to-pronounce names won’t give you the deeper wisdom and codes in the text. So I want to take it slower and study 1 chapter of the 260 chapters New Testament with you every weekday at 8am est on YouTube.
There are exactly 260 weekdays in a year. How divine is that? I already study the Bible daily. I’m just inviting you into my practice because I know how powerful starting your day with scripture can be.
