How To Connect Bluetooth Speakers/Headphones to an Xbox One

There are two ways to get this done. You can either use Xbox's online app through remote play or you can purchase an bluetooth transmitter to get the job done.

I notice the Xbox S Series does not have optical audio but instead uses HDMI. Do you have any other videos showing how to get the sound from an S Series to a Bluetooth speaker (not using phone) 🤷🏻👍

Thanks. It was helpful. The remote option has a lot of latency, but it works. I guess the second approach with the optical cable is more feasible. Well, XBOX Series S doesn't have the optical output.

This was really helpful. Unfortunately the first method won't let you open streaming apps like disney+. I was hoping to watch the new black panther movie on my badass speaker. I was trying to find a workaround for the fact that I have an ancient tv with no connection features as well as Xbox one; I'm missing the tv remote for the tv so can't control volume from sitting and I'm just tired of having to get up every two minutes to change the volume. Sucks that I can't stream anything with remote play

So question the USB power can be drawn from any source? Meaning for example, I can plug the USB into a power outlet, PC, near USB strip, and just connect the optical cable to the Xbox?
