In my opinion, it’s never too early to start an online shop for a small, product-based business

If you're talking about businesses having a web presence versus just being in a booth, that makes so much sense and I love that as a consumer because I'm definitely not going out to craft fairs!

I'm wondering what you feel like in terms of having your own personal domain rather than having something on Etsy.

On the one hand I love Etsy as a consumer because I can just go to one central place. But I love a well laid out website too. Being able to navigate a bunch of different products and have a lot more space for people to tell me about the products or have a blog or whatever. Usually though I have the same places that I shop and when I go to somewhere new it'll be because I saw something for example on YouTube like this like I'm signed up to your email but I wouldn't have known from searching Canadian lip balms or whatever because I don't really search for stuff in that way.

I'm wondering if I should start doing that though and just search for more stuff because living in Canada when I know that there's a Canadian company that shipping is not going to be too horrible such as Christmas before last I actually got the bombs from a Canadian place For a Christmas gift and I love the fact that I can get such wonderful lip balms that I'm not just going to get at London drugs or Superstore. So maybe searching Canadian indie skin care brands or Canadian whatever.

Idk I'm tired and rambling lol! 😅😅
