Main thing we all wanted out of Bethesda at E3 this year was more of that sweet, sweet Fallout 76 info. And we got plenty, plus a few new surprise mentions and a logo at the end that drove everyone wild. But how was Bethesda's E3 press conference overall?

I think a large part of why ES6 being announced is such a big deal is people were worried that the presence of ESO was going to prevent a proper ES release. Look at World of Warcraft. It killed the traditional Warcraft series, even though so many people were and still are hungry for a Warcraft 4.

I still havent seen anyone mention that doomguy is going sleeveless like the og doom armor in that trailer.

The only thing that worries me is that they didn't use the keyword "offline" when referring to 76's solo gameplay.

Thanks for defending Blades a bit, Jared. Stigmitization really can bite legitimately good games in the ass sometimes and, while we shouldn't say whether Blades is good or bad yet, we should at least acknowledge it looks promising.

I get way more hyped for Jared's E3 reactions than the actual press conferences, or E3 in general.

My only recollection of last years Bethesda conference was them taling about how wonderful they are for 45 minutes while making stupid decisions.

IDK why you're apologising so much Jared. This conference is exactly as you describe. People getting hyped are just the sort that get caught up in the hype cycle.

This conference was what it needed to be and no more.

Another thing that was really concerning for Fallout 76 was that they didn’t show the SPECIAL system and the Perks...

Also, for ES: Blades, it didn’t look like it was going to be a true open world/go anywhere kind of thing; all the paths looked like they were corridors

My girlfriend and I are huge Elder Scrolls fans and just seeing it be there and having it acknowledged was so exciting for us and made us really happy. It's not the same for everyone but having that acknowledgment means alot for us as fans and it gave us that thing to hang on to.

The guy on stage was awesome and honest. I like that. The NPC issue could always be solved like e.g. Monster Hunter. You have like... a safe area where you get quests which each player has to do on their own, but also multiplayer quests which everyone in your group gets. That would reduce the quests to collecting and grinding, maybe, but that can be fun with all the other players.
