Elvis was a very spiritual person and word has it that he would sometimes talk to his identical twin brother as if he were around and listening. Elvis struggled with understanding the meaning of his life and why was he chosen to be this larger than life, mega famous international superstar when a lot of his self-perception was that he was just a regular poor white kid raised in the poor parts of Mississippi and eventually Memphis.
