I'm from Brazil, began to follow football in late 70's, have seen the 1982 brazilian team, but I think this Spain was more complete, as it was very strong in all sectors and had also pieces to replace in the same level of the main players.

Midfielders & Forwards are regarded greatly when Spain's recent domination is discussed but the one thing which is under-rated or less talked about is their solid defence. Puyol being the main guy there, was rock solid & instrumental in all those triumphs along with Ramos & Pique & those guys are as big a part of this success story as Spain's Total Football playing Midfielders & forwards.

I thought that Spain played more attractive football at Euro 2008 than they did at the 2010 World Cup or Euro 2012, due to a combination of Aragonés adopting more positive tactics than Del Bosque, and their Euro 2008 title giving them an aura of invincibility and causing opponents to defend for their lives against them.

Probably the only team to actually live up to the hype & dominate & win major trophys unlike the Netherlands back in the 70s or Hungary in the 50s & even Belgium with there golden generation lol

This is one of the best teams in the history of football. For me, the best that I saw is the Brazil of the 70s, the Milan of Arrigo Sachi, the Barcelona of Messi and the Madrid that won several champions with Cristiano and Benzema This team had one of the best goalkeepers, Iker Casillas, in his prime, a super goalkeeper. a defense with puyol, ramos, pique and capdevilla. The midfield was insane, crazy with Xavi, Iniesta, Silva, Xabi Alonso (Cesc was not a starter being a great player) and up top there was gunfire with Villa a great scorer and Torres in Liverpool know well what a great player he was. I miss those years and I would like Spain to work to have a team like that again. Currently, although it has won the Nations League for me in the World Cup, it was shown that it must improve to be elite
