I’m here to say thank you, after many irritating defeats by the berserkers, I’m finally going in and crushing them with this beautiful build. Again, THANK YOU!

Poison build is definitely op, I was stuck on gna for a few days then last night I got home and fully upgraded the Lunda set and switched my enchantments. It then took me a few tries to beat her but it was still fun and challenging because she could easily 1 shot. My only criticism is that they took away the bare hands skill tree so all you have is one 3 hit combo 1 heavy and 2 sprint attacks.

I didn't think of Lunda's when I fought Gna but I came up with my own build when I went against Hrolf. After struggling for days against him, I remembered Lunda's set being kinda OP during midgame so I fully upgraded and swapped to it with the Vanaheim enchantment bonus and 6 other enchantments, the realm shift relic, and Freya with a Hex build and he went down in two attempts. It was so easy I barely broke a sweat compared to how much I struggled with multiple other builds. Looks damn good fully upgraded too.

This is by far the best and easiest build in the game. And the fact that you get it early on is even better

I'd use Skadi's Edge & Mists of Helheim for the axe, both runic attacks throws away the axe so you could get right back into bare-hand without switching

If you wana push this build a little farther, there’s enchantments for freya that increase melee damage to targets afflicted with hex or sonic (dealers choice on which one you prefer), and the difference is insane. I did a test in the trials against enemies and certain ones that took multiple combos to kill before shooting the arrow only took a partial combo to nuke after hit with one of freyas special arrows. I don’t remember the names of them off hand, but easy enough for you to find out on your own. But totally worth a look into it.

By far the best build against Gna in GMGOW, the poison really helps when Gna moves around the battlefield. For the weapon, I opt for the highest defense stats for higher stun damage from the Svartalfheim enchantments. For the shield, instead of the Rond of Affliction, I opt for the Rond of Disruption for the elemental storm AoE damage. Since Gna often does blue ring attacks compare to King Hrolf Kraki. For King Hrolf Kraki I would recommend the Berserker set since his attacks are predictable but this build help me defeat Gna without a sweat. Such an underrated build. Thanks!!!

This is a great build and can actually be paired with normal attacks once the poison has taken effect and their level has dropped to deal loads of damage and then go straight back to bare handed

I had a really hard time with Gna... But I found when rapid firing the Dropnir, you can almost completely "pin" her against a wall with using Freya's arrows as well. Then the heavy slam to explode them once you have a bunch in her. Worked well for me!

Thank you for this build suggestion. I've been mowing down bosses that were on the verge of making me seek therapy. I've got Lunda's maxed out, but need to get the enchantments straight now.

Went looking for a new build, found this, exactly my current build. For 80% of the story. Very reassuring. Thank you.

You use Freyas runic attack that does poison to help you. Ive found the runic storm enchantment to be op as 14sec of a bifrost storm can really melt most enemies and drain bosses life too.

Thanks I used this to beat Gna and Berserker King on GMGOW. Using the dragon gauntlet/waistguard made a noticeable difference compared to the full Lunda set.

Also helps having the stone shield. It's op as hell. I was shocked that it allows you to block yellow attacks as well most of the time. One time my gaurd was broken but it pretty much tanks everything but red attacks. Which defeats the purpose of having yellow block breaking attacks anyways.

Awesome man! Thank you so much for this. Tried all sorts of builds for two days to beat this and couldn't. Beat her in 2 tries with your build 🙏👏

Damn! That shield can block gna's yellow attacks?? I'm impressed. I finally bested her yesterday on no mercy as well. Damn what a fight she is. Not sure if you stated this before but i found her to be more difficult then the B king. Hats off to SMS. You made one helluva game!

Was waiting for someone to use this. Cause I have watched some of those other builds and this one seemed to work best for me. I however actually like the rond of disruption shield attachment, but can see why that one works too

Just started new game + with this setup and increased stats...this makes the game so much easier. I know I am just at the beginning but still. If you can block the yellow attacks it is totally different. Requires different playstyle but so easy. Playing Give me god of war difficulty. Thank you very much for this setup. works extremely well🤙🤙🤙

Used this build when I obtained the armor, although I use the gauntlets that gives you freeze frames when dodging. Really good, and using the shield bash on enemies that get poisoned with the perk is really good.

I just realised u can use a build that can build every status effect in the game, the axe does frost, the blades do burn, ur arrows do hex and sonic, ur armour can do poison, ur shield can do bifrost and ur relic can do shock and and any I missed can be siphoned with the spear
