I got a pair of Stance 84's with bindings from a sight for $399 with free shipping and they came in 2 days. I'm pretty sure it was a mess up on their part, bc now they are back to $519. I hope someone didn't get in trouble for that.

Hey, Elliott, would you also consider reviewing real narrow carving skis mostly met in Europe, let's say the likes of Atomic G9, Fischer RC4CT etc? Seems like you don't ever use such skis in the States?!

finally got to try the Ripstick96 blackedition in some 20+fresh and pretty dry snow, what a blast in soft snow. Man those skis are fun, and carved gs turns are instant goosebumps (at slower speed). i'd buy them at that price and keep them for those perfect condition days but the 180's are sold out. next season i'll demo the stance 96, i think that could be the perfect blend of ripstick fun but more stability at higher speeds.

Tried the kendo 88 @170 cm at Palisades the other day and hated how they skied. Thought for sure I would love since I’ve owned a couple pairs of mantras in the past and enjoyed how they skied. Then, I tried a pair of Salomon stance 95 @168 and I ripped Kt22 over and over. Probably going to purchase. Moral of story is you have to try before you buy.

I’m definitely a novice skier but Meadows rents the Sender Pro 90’s as their “premium” rental with the same bindings. Tried them today. I’m sure there are better options out there but these were the best of 4 different skis I rented this year. I would consider buying them if they had them in 170

East coast based skier - I have an enforcer 88 as my daily driver. I make one or 2 trips out west/year and am looking for an east coast powder ski that can double as a 50/50 on/off piste ski out west. Looking into the QST but can’t decide waist width, any help? I see you loved the 106 but was wondering if it may be too much to ever really use out east.

I had a frustrating experience with them. Was my first time ordering through them and went to get some Pivot 12's for a good deal, ordered them and waited about a day. Checked the website and they still showed in stock the follow day and day and a half but no update on shipping. Then get an email saying "oops we actually don't have any. Do you want an exchange or a refund?"

Definitely frustrating.

Btw, those deals are still expensive. Ski should not be more than $400, because you can buy them for $150 used 2 years old.

Yeah, I don’t trust too many used products. I have had good luck on skis at skitalk but most people on there are legit.
