I totally agree about The Pumpkin Spice Cafe. It was such an incredibly fast read! I didnt love it but am tempted to continue just cuz of how fast it read. I dont know if the UK will have the same narrator but the US narrator did a great job on The Grace of Kings. I def think the audio helped me get through that series. I really need to read some of these translated books that you keep mentioning cuz they sound so good! Good luck finding some new favs to wrap up the year!

Jade, go ahead and lower your expectations with Christmas Tree Farm. I read it in early November and I already forgot the vast majority of it. I remember liking it because of the dogs, but the characters themselves even said it was fast

Starling house was surprisingly good to me. I went in with pretty low expectations and it definitely surprised.

I was planning to finish the Stormlight Archives in December but I’m behind so I think it’ll have to overlap into January as well, we’ll see.

I'm not reading fiction for the rest of the year but I did buy myself 12 cookbooks and plan to read those for the rest of the year. LOL I've gotten through 3 already and can tell you there are many recipes I wanna make but I have to be careful that it's always stuff I can afford. I can't wait to get the rest of them (I only have 3, one on the way today if it comes at all and the rest will arrive by December 3)...

[EDIT: I got the cookbook a few minutes ago. I've already found a handful of recipes I wanna make and I'm only on page 50 of 107.]
