I currently have around 600k in my 401k. I began investing when I was 26 years old and I am currently 48 years old. So glad I educated myself on personal finances. Great content Shaheedah!

Thank you so much for the simple explanation on investing. As minorities we truly need to learn more about investing and also teach our children to start building generation wealth.

I love your videos. They are so informative and very easy to understand for those who are new to these concepts. You must have been and still are a great teacher and educator. Your passion for education and helping our community comes through in every video you make and it is appreciated.

I am so sad that I missed this live. I had so many questions. Besides not having the most money possible, is there a consequence for not contributing to your investments every month after starting them? Do you have to continue to fund a ROTH IRA every month until retirement after you start? Same with 529 Plans? My concern is there's maybe penalties if I don't contribute to it every month.

A student working part-time can open Roth IRA?

I consistently contribute to my IRA every month and max it out at the contribution limits at the end of the year. My question is the IRA invested, or is it sitting there like a savings account, and where does it go? I don’t have a 401k, instead I have a Rollover IRA and my employer 457b. Thanks for answering my questions.

I really like your podcast but you go so much into debt. It makes me change the station because I'm so pumped. Up to hear you talk and to learn from you but you take so long to get to the point I go and find somebody that's going to talk about it so I could be able to learn. I don't have 30 minutes to hear you're opening speech, but you're still great. Keep going what you doing?

Hi Shaheeda, please explain about the 529 plan when you mentioned if she doesn’t use all of the money or the extra money. One reason I’m choosing not to go with the 529 plan is cause if my granddaughter decide she doesn’t want to go to college I still want her to be able to use the money for other options besides school. Even if she chooses not to go to college can all of the funds be transferred to a ROTH IRA?Thanks for all that you’re doing.

For the cash savings, I had that too. An advice is to use the gift option👀 But her lender should be able to advise her over the phone. Some of us were trying to hide cash 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️😅😅 especially when we saw the truckers money being frozen and banks closing down 😅😅

Hi Mrs. Hill, I know the video aired a few months ago… but can I ask how much money I can have in my savings (saving for a home) before the lender or underwriter begins to question where the money came from? 🤔💜
