I hate hate hate the process of trying to make a plan, then adjust it when needed, then hope it’s progressing correctly. I JUST WANT TO CONCENTRATE ON COMPLETING A WORKOUT and this update changes everything!
Super pumped on this.
Don’t pay attention to anything. Just set your goal races and let the AI get me there. Only effort is completing the workout and be honest with the survey.

I’m been off TR for almost a year due to knee injury. I believe this will help adjust my on again off again workouts due to the injury and how I feel. This will be great to help my recovery, and a reason I’ve kept my subscription, keep the feature upgrades coming…

I love adaptive training and train now.
I've always struggled to stick to a training plan in the past. Missing or failing scheduled workouts was demotivating and led to a downward spiral where I avoided the workouts and stopped seeing gains.
I recently started a new plan with adaptive training using a system suggested FTP. I deliberately kept the training volume low so that I could supplement the plan with train now.
It feels like the workouts are well targeted and getting progressively harder in a manageable way.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this contributes to my fitness levels over time.

I love the system and have just started using it again for my first ironman next year. Currently set to low volume plan but use train now to add in workouts when time allows. For the money trainerroad can't be beaten.

I really enjoyed Train Now this summer as a new parent. I didn't want the commitment of a full plan, but wanted to keep progressing. It was great!

When you bring in outside rides please add an offset function, such as +8% because I'm so much stronger outside than in or just for PM differences between bikes. We all know roughly what difference we're at, so would be great if it doesn't artificially inflate progression levels

I honestly didn't care for TR when I first tried it because I didn't like looking at a graph my entire ride. Now that it has an adaptive coach I find it is awesome in helping me plan for an event. With the new videos to combine Zwift and TR I am getting the best of both worlds and with any luck improving.

Excellent, thank you. Answered all my questions. I've loved TR telling how to train over the past 3 years, and I'm going to follow the adaptive training recommendations to the letter this winter. Glad I can do Ramp tests less frequently now.

Question- I guess I should be addressing my base at this time of year. Therefore I’m keeping my workouts in the sweet spot zones. AT always recommends an endurance ride that says achievable. The sweet spot says productive. I’d prefer doing the productive ride. Am I cheating myself by skipping the endurance rides?

So, I am following a plan quite closely but what typically happens is that I will do a group ride instead of a structured workout, and most of the time the TSS will be much higher than the prescribed workout.
Should I associate my ride with the workout so it is taken account into AT ?
How should I answer the survey ?
I think this is a vey common use case and the reason for avoiding group rides but at the same time a good alternative to hard workouts, right ?

Does AT work if your power is not getting recorded by TR? I ride without a power meter outside, and inside I am manually matching watts on my exercise bike to the level required by each TR workout. So TR knows I completed the workout but doesn't have power levels during the workout.

Brilliant... just Brilliant! Loving this episode = def answered some questions i had AND providing so much more understanding of your system! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't ever sell this off to some group that goes and F's it all up!!!

How should I rank a workout where I had to decrease the % from 100% to 95% to make it through the final intervals. Very Hard or All out. I assume All out.

Recovery and endurance wattages are very different for long endurance athletes when compared to sprinters. Does adaptive training change pettit intensity depending on the type of athlete?
