“If you were born in 2004-2010” I was born in 2004, meaning that I was just barely old enough to fit this age range and that hit me so hard.. it makes me realize how time never stops or waits, it just keeps progressing forward. Which makes me think of when I was younger, much younger, and I used to hear how only the pre 2000s kids were cool.. fast forward a few years to when I’m older and now it’s cool to be born 2000-2004.. fast forward more years to when I’m 18 and now I’m allowed to enter the “nostalgic club” and reminisce on how great 2016 was and people are making videos saying “if you remember these things then you’re officially a 2000s kid” and it would be games like angry birds or subway surfers, pretty much everything that makes up my childhood. Fast forward to the present day and on the surface nothing has changed, people still reminisce on the past, people still make their edits showing past nostalgic games, etc.. but at the same time it’s so different, those same people making the nostalgic edit videos are slowly starting to exclude people born in the 2000-2004 age range because we are no longer the “new age” of nostalgic people anymore.. now it’s the people born from 2005-2008 getting their nostalgia compilation videos, leaving me and others my age in the past… which is why I said it hit so hard for me that I just barely made it into the intended age range for this video because 1-2 years from now these videos won’t be aimed towards me, I will have become “too old” for this too just like I have for so many damn things. Time truly doesn’t wait for anyone, it comes for us all.. slowly dragging us further and further into the past where we will eventually be left abandoned and forgotten..

I sometimes rewatch some movies I used to like when I was a child, you know, Shrek, Cars, Puss in Boots, and every time I rewatch these films I can’t stop laughing and I overalls have the best time of my life.

Im so blessed at 17 being able to be a innocent child in a way, when i can i put away my responsibilitys and watch shows that i love, they make me feel like a kid they feel so innocent Lost, Smallville and other show. Spongebob and cartoons too of course.

I just sat in the boot of my car listening to nostalgic songs for solid 2 hours while gazing to the distance. Big nostalgia hit and I was remembering all of my favorite moments from my childhood and younger days. I need days like this to just remember the past and chill. I am wishing for better days and being sad that I can't go back in time. I will be doing that again in a few years. Life goes on, like it or not.
