Bradford Retaining Walls

The home was designed by Your Building Broker and is to be built by Homes By Dalessio.

The wall is at the back of the building block - facing onto public open space (or a park). The overall wall height is just over 2 metres.

There were a few different options with this wall - however there is a sewer line which was restrictive if a limestone block retaining wall was being built.

The backfilling against the Bradford retaining hasn't been completed yet as the site will need to be cleared of vegetation first and the final block levels established. Also, the new home incorporates an in-ground swimming pool, so excess soil can be used once that excavation has been completed to backfill against the retaining walls.
