New Pump Track Setup!

Hey there YouTube, AJ here!

If you saw my previous video where I went to a pump track for the first time you saw how stoked I got and was instantly hooked! So much so I decided then and there I needed a dedicated skateboard setup specifically for speed and handling required on a pump track...

Well here it is and you can see how set it up and some of my musings on the hows and and whys along with some channel news and reflections on my journey into skateboarding.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to go test it out yet due to all the rain we've been getting...

Awesome setup, but you might want to run some risers or you're gonna get hella wheel bite with those 66mm wheels and loose trucks

I would add 1/2-1" riser and loosen trucks. Gives you the ability to weave around and on the sides of track sections and adjust quickly. I dig the setup though I have similar but running harder wheels... Trying to find the best wheel hardness for speed. Unfortunately my local pump track has some smooth and some really rough sections so which wheel to use.

I have this board setup but I haven't figured out what it is best for yet. It is too long for my street tricks and too narrow for my bowl skating. Maybe I need to find a pump track.
Love the concave on the board.
I was bit surprised how narrow the mack was, about 8.25. I went with a bit wider truck than the board because the the front of the board is much wider.
Olympia bearings are great.
