I have learnt more watching your podcasts and listening to Dr Lustig than all the years of reading and listening to other so called professionals.

Thanks a million Dr Lustig for not giving up on the fight and continuing to bring attention to the poisonous food that's in our grocery shelves all over the country. God bless you.

I quit sugar on January 1, 2024 and I have absolutely no cravings to go back. I release sugar while on a 30-day fast and, when the fast ended, I couldn't justify going back to sugar.

Doctors also dont want to solve sugar problem. No sugar, no patients. No money, no drug prescription.

'To solve a problem, you have to solve the cause of the problem, not the result of the problem.'
Brilliant. Yet most doctors can't get this concept. Truly sad.

9:46: 🧠 Sugar consumption can lead to changes in behavior and brain function, including irritability, violence, cognition problems, and dementia.
12:39: 🔑 The most important thing is to solve the cause of a problem, not just the result.

I only found dr Robert Lustig when it was a little too late. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes back in August 2023. Mainly because of soft drink abuse and a 12 years history of chronic anxiety and depression. But, ever since I started following him, I have been successfully managing my T2DM. I would say this man is one of the blessing of God for our generation, I hope he lives a long and healthy life and convey his message to every individual on the planet so people can lead a better life. May God reward you Doctor

Most of human behaviour is simply habit. An easier way to deal with food is to ask, 'why am I eating this' and it is mostly due to desire which then leads to habit. After 'finding' a talk by Dr Robert Lustig a few years ago I eliminated any sugar, other than fruit, from my diet.

It is too bad most doctors don't have the time to hear what you're saying. I also think that even if they did, they may not do anything about it.

Great podcast, I'm so happy I've found Dr Lustig from watching your posts. He is a wealth of sound advice and has helped me change my own eating habits. This is now making me rethink what my 10 year old son eats and what I can do to help him eat the right foods as he grows into an adult!

"To solve a problem, " you also need to measure the problem. Wonder why direct measurement of visceral fat, say via a Dexa scan, was not discussed. Once you know how much visceral fat one has, progress and protocol efficacy can then be determined. I had my first Dexa scan in June, 2023 and it was an eye opener. Thank you for this interview.
