I highly recommend using the NYX Glitter primer when you use shimmery shadows. It makes a world of a difference I swear. It intensifies not just the shimmer in a shadow but also amps up the pigmentation. It's a little tip that truly works and I have this palette. I also work for NYX and I always recommend the Glitter primer even if you never where glitter because it works amazing with pigments and shimmery/metallic shadows.

Thank you for this review. I was on the fence about this palette because I'm not sure about the nyx formula. I thought this palette would be perfect for an affordable dark jeweled palette. Long story short, thanks the looks u did(showing how the shadows performed), your description of the palette n ur swatches...I ended up picking up the palette. I really like the way that pallette looks and how diverse it is! I really want a wearable pallete with blues, pinks and yellows that is drugstore. Think I might buy this!
