Kevin, this is not a step up for Sha Carri in this race. The 9th place at Pre (11:14) is better that the 2nd place (11:19) time shared with the winner. She hasn’t improved one bit. This is cause for concern. She should have won this race easily based on her mouth and the talent she claim she has.

Hmm. Didn’t Gatlin said she was running 10.5s in practice? In order for her to run faster and compete against the top athletes she’s gonna have work on her start, increase her stride length or make the strides quicker which is gonna be more challenging. The way she’s running I don’t see her beating the Jamaicans unless they start going backwards. In my opinion she hasn’t improved at all since the Prefantaine Classic. Her places went up but the times not so good especially against weaker fields she was in.

No one will want to watch Sha'Carri unless she starts winning soon. This is the greatest-ever era in the women's sprints, so the 2022 Worlds are going to be hard for her. I just hope she rediscovers her form from the USAs.

Don’t use Oliver and the fact the she Oliver made the team to measure where ShaCarrie’s at. Remember ShaCarrie beat Oliver in many races before including Olympic Trial.

Oliver is more than a solid runner. She's a great runner. I commend Shacarri for getting back out there because she's been humbled lately. 11.1 is not a slow time but lately track and field has been on another level. She'll be back .

Sha’Carri is only 21. Shelly and Elaine wouldn’t have beaten her at the same age. My point is she’s going to get a lot faster in the next four years

She is still running very slow, she is a million miles behind her PB. She is good as a streaker running on to the track naked, right now. Would we give monetary reward and world wide attention to the streaker ???? The name of the game in T/ F is still winning and beating only the best. Not no staged race races to over shadow the true champions and in this case great women !
