Thanks for this tip! You mentioned on your blog that you observed artists like Matteo Scalera doing this. But I couldnt find examples of them sharing a process like this. Do you have any examples from them?

Should I create a silhouette layer to use as a base for clipping mask ink and go from there?

So I just merge the layer and then fill bucket?

Wait, there's actually a name for this?! I've been doing this for the past 2 years and had no idea it was an actual technique! I do a similar thing with shading too
