Lambi aka Conch is a favorite delicacy to Haitians. It is usually cooked for special occasions and anyone attending a special occasion always looks forward to having some Lambi on their plate. For a long time I was intimidated to try and cook Lambi but not anymore; after helping my mom make it and editing this video I'm ready to cook up some Lambi by myself. I hope if you are intimidated by making this delicious dish this video helps to diminish those feelings, it's really not hard at all.

Recipe can be found in my Holiday E-book at:

This is the first part showing you how to clean and prepare the Lambi for cooking.

You can use the pink parts, those can be finely chopped & used to make marinade. They're called conch fritters.

Thanks for the video. I just bought a box today, yes I am intimidated to cook it since it is the first time I am preparing it. The lady at the register suggested to clean it with Sour orange ( Oranj si). You used lemon / lime. Confused .Which should I use?

I am also using a slow cooker. Do I have to pour water into the cooker and to what level? Or let it steam.

By the way some people say konk, conch. I heard both terms used. Bottom line "tout moun ap manje LAMBI"
Cheers to my Haitian people.
